why Hello there :)
I was born and raised on the shores of Stonington, CT. As a kid I loved crabbing in the summer, Broadway plays in the big city, and riding bikes until the street lights came on.
I began my event planning career working at Mohegan Sun as an Executive Host and was promoted to Arena Club Manager, working events of all kinds from NYE galas to private VIP events. I’ve always had a love for weddings and after working at Mohegan Sun for 6 years I decided to join one of the most successful catering companies in South Eastern CT, Coastal Gourmet. There I learned the ins and outs of the wedding planning process before following my dream and opening KH weddings and events in 2015.
Weddings are my passion, and being apart of such a special day is what makes this job so amazing.
I love bringing those Pinterest ideas to life, a good spread sheet, and creating signature weddings that truly reflect our amazing couples!
get to know me
Favorite wedding moment: Right before the bride walks down the aisle with her father, I tear up every time!
Last supper meal: Toss up. Either a very rare bone in butter basted ribeye with a beautiful Barolo or el pastor tacos and a mezcal margarita. Yum!
Music I'm listening to: I love classic rock, 90's alternative, and crooners. Fleetwood Mac, David Bowie, Eric Clapton, Tyler Childers, Talking Heads, João Gilberto, Nina Simone ...
Shhh.. A little secret about me: I’m a sucker for old romcoms. When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seatle, You've got Mail and Annie Hall just to name a few. Oh and I’m a Disney World fanatic!
Favorite childhood past time: Sports and being part of a team. I have played everything from field hockey to rugby and my new obsession… golf.
Little known fact: I'm an old soul. I love the Rat Pack, Carol Burnett Show, My Fair Lady, The Sound of Music, Walter Matthew & Jack Lemon, and playing pitch.
Couldn't live without: My 6 year old chihuahua jiggy. He is the love of my life. This dog has traveled to the Golden Gate Bride, Napa Valley, New Orleans, Nashville, hiked the Smokey Mountains and laid on the beach in Santa Monica with me. In my next life I'm definitely coming back as this dog haha.
